| Job Description: |
Our client is searching for a Portal Operations Manager. This technically oriented position is responsible for establishing and maintaining systems and associated work processes to provide an industry leading web based network.
Key Responsibilities / Activities
• Consultant: Consult with business heads and managers to maximise the way the company presents its products, services and competitive advantage;
• Engineer: Develop and organise the structure of the company web products, ensuring high standards of usability, accuracy and robustness;
• Advocate: Reach out to audience groups (players, members, business partners, and the company employees) to determine their needs, and act as an advocate to ensure that the company addresses those needs through the web products;
• Train: Participate in the training of Member Service staff in the use of the company web products
• Visionary: Anticipate and look toward the future, analysing and proposing new ways the company might use the web to carry out its mission more efficiently and effectively.
• Project Manager: Develop project plans including tasks to be performed, task estimates, and targeted completion dates. Provide project monitoring feedback to Business Units and senior management. Prioritise projects with input from senior management.

Skills Required:: |
Experience / Qualifications Requirements
• Minimum of five years experience in a senior project or web management role
• Minimum of two years experience in managing a large community focused commercial web site
