Major responsibilities
The analyst will be responsible for:
- Business partnering with the Senior Director in order to develop and drive strategic and financial initiatives across the organization.
- Providing finance support on weekly regional conference calls.
- Improving use of TM1, SAP, and BW within the Applications group.
- Conducting all elements of FP&A for the organization, to include all budgeting and forecasting of expense, bookings, and revenue.
- Leading financial process improvements and implementations.
Job Description –to candidates
This analyst will be the primary finance support for our Worldwide Applications organization.
The Applications organization consists of over 370 highly educated engineers deployed worldwide at KLA-Tencor customer sites. The Applications group is responsible for providing sales, customer training, tool optimization, and contracted customer support.
Additionally this position will also support ad-hoc financial analysis for the Worldwide Customer Group, of which the Applications group is a compone |
| Skills Required: |
Technical functional competencies
Knowledge of basic financial accounting, TM1, MS Excel and VBA Macros, SAP/BW, MS Access, and database systems is important.
The analyst will be responsible for:
- Business partnering with the Senior Director in order to develop and drive strategic and financial initiatives across the organization.
- Providing finance support on bi-weekly regional conference calls.
- Leading financial process improvements in TM1, SAP, and BW.
- Conducting all elements of FP&A for the organization, to include all budgeting and forecasting of revenue, bookings and expense.
- Be the primary finance point-of-contact for the Customer Group HQ function to include budgeting and forecasting expense as well as posting journal entries.
