Skills:
- Automotive/Motor Vehicle/Parts
Duties
- Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for automated and semi-automated machine and robotic systems
- Work closely with other members to design manufacturing equipment for use on production line
- Redesign number of existing manual assist systems
- Create electrical schematics
- Generate equipment arrangement drawings
- Select I&C components
- Write specifications, test procedures and reports
- Project management including scoping, cost estimates and monitoring of project status.
Education Requirements
- Must posses a university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education particularly in the area of robotics and machine automation
Experience Requirements
- Preference will be given to those with strong automation, mechanical or electrical background
- Must be self-motivated, able to follow a vision and complete projects in an effective and timely manner
- Must have high energy and a desire to get things done
- Ability to communicate effectively , both in written and verbal
- Above average computer/programming skills
