| Job Description: |
Richmond Vale Academy, located in St. Vincent, at the Caribbeans, recruits volunteers for working on development programs in different countries of Africa or Central America.
The programme lasts for 14/20 months:
- 6 months intensive training at DRH Richmond Vale Academy, St. Vincent and the Grenadines
- 6/12 months on a Humana People To People project in Mozambique, South Africa, Malawi or Belize.
- 2 months Camp Future: follow up and information work in the Caribbeans.
The projects in Africa and Belize are working on the following main issues of development:
• Child Aid and Community programmes
• Fighting Hiv/aids
• Making programmes for orphans and street children
• Training future teachers
• Teaching in vocational schools
• Agriculture, farming and environmental protection
• Business, marketing and partnership
Groups start every 1st of March and 1st of September. |
