| Job Description: |
Our client, requires a specialist to work on their Mainframe Z-Series server. You will have experience of working with storage and software technologies. The environment is configured in a dual-site, environment supported by the latest WAN network technologies. Connectivity is supported using TCP/IP and Websphere. The DB2 database is configured for data-sharing.
Role:
The successful candidate will work as part of a highly experienced existing Mainframe Team. You will support the ongoing day-day management of the DB2/IMS/CICS sub-systems. Additionally, you will demonstrate capability, experience and skill in support of the design of these mission critical sub-systems and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design, configuration, implementation and day-day operational management
Configuration Management,
Operating System Provisioning,
Change/Problem/Incident Management,
Performance and Capacity Management,
Security, Compliance and Business Continuity Management.
