Description:
The incumbent will spend time working on customer solutions that lower costs, increase agility and enable business growth. Areas of focus include enterprise visualization, enterprise orchestration, business continuity, infrastructure standardization, open systems migrations and consolidations. The Open Source Architect will be responsible for the design and conceptual integrity of the underlying architecture elements of the Company’s Open Source architecture with a focus on utility computing, information workflow blueprinting, information lifecycle management solutions, policy-based management techniques, and overall data management solution integration. Works closely with company’s key technology and service vendors to evaluate, develop, and integrate their solutions like JBOSS, MySQL, Oracle Fusion, IBM Websphere etc. Contributes to company’s customers’ goals of creating a future-state infrastructure where IT assets are virtualized, self-managed and business driven producing greater enterprise agility and lower IT costs.

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications:
1.Masters degree or PhD or equivalent experience
2.Experience with two or more of the following industry standards and frameworks applicable to open source and open standards: JBOSS, MYSQL, Linux, Oracle Fusion, Websphere, and Weblogic. Industry certifications if applicable.
3.At least ten (10) years of experience in JAVA/J2EE development
4.Experience defining the enterprise architecture for at least ten medium or large projects worth $10M or above
5.Experience as the lead architectural reviewer of designs with experience in mission critical, high-volume applications
6.Experience managing teams of practitioners including architects, technologists and consultants
