| Job Description: |
A well established Emergency lighting manufacturing company based at Hersham Surrey area is seeking a talented Purchase Assistant. Bright, enthusiastic and eager to learn. Both accounts and Electronics experience would be beneficial.
- Understanding of purchase ledger
- You must have knowledge of working with the SAGE
- Post invoices/credit notes into Purchase Ledger system ensuring adherence to procedures for tax control and input validation, and payments are made to agreed supplier payment terms
- Checking invoices against orders, ensuring accuracy is maintained
- Assisting with month end closing and reporting
- full statement reconciliations

Skills and Experience Required
- Self-motivated with a hard working and proactive approach
- Ability to work under pressure and priorities work accordingly.
- Good communication skills - interpersonal, telephone and written.
- Competent in Word Processing and spreadsheet packages.
- A good level of numeracy.
Accounting package and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Resolve all Supplier and PO originator queries on a timely basis
- Uploading purchase activity to the ledger
- You will be able to demonstrate previous exposure in a similar role and have strong IT and communications skills
- You must have some knowledge of electronics.
