Data Warehouse Specialist
My Prominent Insurance client utilizes its talents to find real working solutions to real world problems. They work with high network throughput, voluminous database access, redundancy, security, financial transaction processing, and data archival and backup, among other issues.
This role will lead the data warehousing and mining initiatives for the company. You will work closely with management and business units and will be instrumental in driving forward the development of their Information Systems.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• Obtain business process and data requirements
• Develop requirements and translate into detailed design specifications and project plans
• Ensure timely delivery of projects
• Evaluate risk strategies and develop test plans
• Take responsibility for executing the deployment of the plans,
• Track project deliverables,
• Manage development, training, and warehouse users
• Ability to solve problems as they arise

| Skills Required: |
- 5+ years experience in Data Warehousing
- Operating Systems, networking, databases, data structures, and commercial application development
- Experience in defining requirements for Data Warehousing
- Excellent understanding of Computer Science
- Process analysis and data modeling
- Strong database and SQL skills
- Excellent knowledge of the principles of software design and implementation, |
