| Job Description: |
Our client, a Singapore-based company founded specifically to tap into the value creation possibilities in the Natural Gas sector, is currently seeking topnotch professionals to join their team in a large development project that includes a Port, a Free Trade Zone, and a Chemical Complex in Lagos, Nigeria
1. The incumbent will prepare a Project Report for the setting up of the port facilities and create an organization for both project phase and operations phase.
2. Direct the smooth operation of the port facilities ensuring safe, competent, and profitable operation of the port.
3. Manage the operation of the temporary construction dock for the import of equipment, machinery and construction materials during the project phase.
4. Organize for and obtain all the required approvals including the coordination of the port project with relevant Nigerian authorities.
5. Ensure that the project is completed within the specified cost, time, and quality requirements.
6. Organize and award contracts for port design and construction.
7. Oversee the work of the consultants and contractors and ensure proper execution of all operational aspects in port design and construction.
8. Ensure and maintain satisfaction of the customers who avail of the port facilities.
