The Ingenium Group, a leading Tokyo-based executive search firm is looking for highly-motivated individuals with previous experience in recruitment to work in Tokyo, Japan.
Our Clients retain us to find and introduce the best candidates in the market. Ingenium Consultants work in teams specializing in the following 6 practice groups: Technology, Professional Services, Consumer, Life Sciences, Industrial and Semiconductors.
Although the company was started in 2000 we are already one of the leading executive search firms in all of Japan. Ingenium is currently expanding throughout the Asia Pacific region and has successfully completed several Country Manager searches throughout the region.
Language will not be a problem. This is because our clients (mostly non-Japanese companies with overseas business operations in Japan) are looking for Japanese executives who are bilingual and speak English well enough to do business with the APAC regional office and the head-office.
Ingenium is looking for individuals who practice old-fashioned virtues such as honesty, persistence, determination and integrity. Comfort with "cold calling" high level executives is necessary.
Our best people this year will earn in excess of 10M to 30 M yen (85,000 - 250,000 USD ) in income.

Responsibilities:
· Client development including evaluation of the Client's requirements and corporate culture, developing an understanding and description of the position(s) the Client is seeking to fill and negotiating a services agreement.
· Extensive market research and networking including contacting existing sources as well as pursuing new leads.
· Cold calling and appointment making with prospective candidates on a regular basis.
· Interviewing, screening, evaluation and reference checking of candidates.
· Record keeping and data-entry associated with each candidate and Client met.
· Presenting Client opportunity to appropriate candidates.
· Presenting a strong pool of candidates for Client interviews.
· Arranging Client and candidate meetings. (Consultants may or may not attend these interviews.)
· Clarifying issues between Client and candidate and providing feedback to both parties after initial and follow-on meetings.
· Negotiating details of Client's offer until it is accepted by the finalist candidate.
· Assuring Client satisfaction after the new hire comes on board by staying in touch with both Client and candidate.
· Staying abreast of current market conditions to identify potential Clients.
Qualifications:
· Recruiting, sales or industry experience preferred; successful applicants will have at least 5 years of professional experience.We will obtain proper visa on your behalf should you relocate to Japan.
· Successful candidates are articulate, confident, outgoing, persistent, highly motivated, goal-oriented, focused and self-directed.
· The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance, with a competitive attitude and persistence
· Ingenium is looking for a creative thinker and a high achiever, with the ability to work independently.
· Your professional sales techniques reflect your attitude that the customer comes first.
· Successful candidates have the ability to meet sales targets, and the desire to work in a challenging environment.
· Ability to use MS Office applications combined with excellent communication and writing skills is a must.
· Successful candidates will have strong client service skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems on their own initiative.
