| Job Description: |
4 years Bachelors Degree in Telecom Engineering or related field with Diploma in GSM transmission having a minimum of 2 years experience in GSM transmission in the following.
• Installation, Commissioning and Integration of Ericsson, Tell labs DXX.
• Cabling in exchanges from BSC to Transmission DDF.
• Troubleshooting of all kinds of SDH and PDH transmission equipment.
• Thorough knowledge on how to read, Implement Circuit work orders (CWO).
• Loop back testing on the BSC Transmission and Cell Sites.
• Perform fiber optic testing on transmission sites and service rings.
• Complete knowledge on how to use SDH analyzers, fiber optic testers.
• Copper wire, coaxial cable E1 testing and implementing.
• Hi-Cap and traffic node physical and logical cross connections.
• DXX physical and logical cross connections.
• Drive testing.
• Coordination with O&M and other engineers.
• Excellent exposure in MS Word and Excel.
