Overview:
The P&ID Designer is responsible for utilizing Intergraph SmartPlant P&ID to produce piping instrumentation drawings, manual valve list and line list.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain P&IDs, Manual Valve Lists and Line Lists using Intergraph SmartPlant P&ID software
Typical Tasks include:
• Create / Import / Revise Piping & Instrument Diagrams
• Create Instrument Loops and associated tags for use on P&IDs
• Assign Tag numbers to all Piping components, Process lines and Equipment
• Generate/ Update Manual Valve List from completed P&IDs
• Generate / Update Line List from completed P&IDs
• Create spread sheet for mapping Export of all Instruments to SmartPlant Instrumentation (INtools) software

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications:
Education, Experience and Skill Sets
• Associate's degree in related engineering field or equivalent process automation system experience
• 2+ years of related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to exercise independent decision making
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experienced with basic instrumentation loops per ISA requirements
• Experienced with SmartPlant P&ID
