| Job Description: |
My client, an established business services firm, requires an experienced localization specialist with a minimum of 3 years professional experience.
Responsibilities:
• Creating builds of the software for QA.
• Working to isolate and fix faults
• Bug fixing across various products, platforms & languages
• Tracking and reporting of defects
• Working closely with team members
• Analysis of English source files
• Prepare English source materials for localization and translation
• Support other teams including linguists during the translation and adaptation phase of production
• Build and Bug fix Help systems in Western and Asian languages for delivery to client
• Evaluate new localization technologies and Testing packages
Familiarization with the following tools is a plus:
WebWorks for Framemaker, Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Macintosh, Unix, Visual Basic 6.0, Catalyst, Microsoft Help, Trados, EmEditor , Visual Studio .NET, Visual C++ 6.0 |
Skills Required:: |

* XML experience advantageous.
