| Job Description: |
This role is a 12 month contract, however, with a growing resourcing team there may be more long term opportunties available at the end of this contract.
This role supports the Recruiting Consultant with:
• The provision of expert advice and guidance on recruitment and selection; and providing feedback.
• Conducting individual assignments/campaigns on behalf of Recruitment Consultant either directly or with suppliers, and providing regular updates on progress against plan.
• Sourcing, qualifying and screening candidates to provide excellent quantity and quality of candidates.
• Assisting/advising the Recruiting Consultant and Line Managers as appropriate during the selection and offer/onboarding processes to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Builds effective working relationships with Line Managers to maximise adoption of consistent, high quality and cost effective recruitment solutions across roles.
• Works effectively with preferred suppliers on a day to day basis to ensure delivery of service and promotion of brand/employee proposition in market place.
• Evaluates and utilises suppliers/channels as appropriate to be able to meet the changing needs of the business.
• Develops and promotes direct/on-line attraction strategies to reduce dependence on agency placements.
• Networks with Line Managers and internal colleagues/customers to maximise candidate re-use and share best resourcing practice.
• Builds and maintain own knowledge of resourcing best practice both within and outside the RBS group.
• Continuously evaluates attraction and selection tools in line with feedback/best practice/improvements/legislative requirements & works with Resourcing Consultant to develop processes that are consistent, reliable and cost effective.
• Updates vacancy database and candidate management system to ensure MI capture.
Responsible for the processing and administration involved within the full recruitment lifecycle including Pre Employment Screening.

| Skills Required: |
The Successful Applicant will have:
• Minimum 2 years Resourcing experience, preferably gained in a complex, fast moving business/call centre environment.
• Experience of managing recruitment and selection assignments.
• Must have the ability to support and build relationships with internal line managers and professionally assist them through the recruitment process.
• Experience of managing supplier relationships an advantage.
• Results focus essential to succeed.
• Flexibility and change orientation – the ability to work in a new and adapting matrix based structure with a large volume of high priority tasks
