Job Description: Applicant will complete a 30 day intern training with the completion of one on location event. During intern, applicant will display knowledge by submitting assignments (i.E. Written assignment on local trends, completing a mock story board, contract review, vendor confirmations, seating assignments, etc.). After successful completion, intern will be offered a paid position as an Event Coordinator Assistant. |
Skills Required:: |
Necessary Job Skills: Applicant must have a general knowledge of current trends and be able to display knowledge of linen types, flowers, cake descriptions, décor, etc. Applicant must also be able to convey strong written and oral communication skills. He/she will at some time be responsible for presenting the company and securing contracts. Therefore, an open mind to dealing with company sales is a must. Our interns must possess qualities of a self starter, quick thinker, leadership, organization. He/she should also possess knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
