| Job Description: |
• Familiarizing with OHSE laws and regulations, NSN Customer Project Policy goals and programs.
• Ensuring that all operation within the project organization are in compliance with all applicable Legal and Company requirements
• Providing OHSE consultation, training and support to NSN Customer Project Director/Manager, Line Managers, Project Engineers, and Installation Supervisors etc.
• Conducting on-site audits and inspections.
• Coordinate and supervise the inspection of all available safety equipments such as personal protective equipment, safety signs and fire extinguishers, in periodical basis in their respective working areas/sites.
• Proposed to the Project Director/Manager or Line Managers regarding changes of Safety Equipment.
• Report directly to the Project / Site Manager or Line Managers regarding OHSE matters.
o Advise to the Line Manager or Project / Site Manager regarding potential hazard areas.
o Immediately notifying all serious OHSE accidents and incident
o Reporting monthly injury/illness information.
o Reporting lost workday case accidents to project director/manager.
• Attend incident and accident investigations. Assisting in cooperation with the effected supervisor(s) and employee(s) all lost workday accident investigation
• Consult to Safety Representative or Safety Engineer regarding solving problems.
• Coordinate “Safety Meeting” if necessary
• Authority to warn the employees who are not implementing the OHSE requirements / procedures in his / her working area/site

Skills Required:: |
Needed Qualification
Health & Safety Officer license by Malaysia National Institute of Occupational Health & Safety
Education:
Diploma in OHSE or the equivalent thereof from any professional body or institution
|
