Our client is looking to recruit a Oracle Database Administrator to Manage the Maintenance and Upgrades of their in house Oracle systems. If you have extensive Oracle experience then send you CV by clicking on the apply button below stating your expected salary and available start date.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
* Database roll outs including testing/certification
* Daily maintenance of database infrastructure
* Checking nightly logs
* Coordinate hardware upgrades.
* Implement database server software
* Troubleshoot database server and connectivity problems
* Patch management
* Troubleshoot Oracle Applications 11i issues
* Escalate issues where necessary.
* Maintain/implement server/database/user security
* Maintain databases as assigned
* Coordinate development/implementation of new databases
* Clone 11i Apps environments as required
* Involvement in the continuous improvement of Oracle apps
* Team player across multiple teams within the organization.
* Providing innovative approachs to problem solving.

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications And Experience
* Sql
* Minimum 3 years Database Administration
* Minimum 2 years Unix/NT Administration
* Minimum 3 years 11i Oracle Application Administration
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred
* OCA/OCP certification an advantage
* Relevant hardware experience
* Siebel, Oracle Apps, web
* Sh, perl, http, VB, sql
