| Job Description: |
Responsible for design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, and valves etc. May also be responsible for advanced controls optimization.
Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 15+ years. At this level, the individual generally will have contributed inventions, new designs, or techniques, which are of material significance in the solution of important problems. Incumbents at this level will usually hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.

Skills Required:: |
Senior person with an engineering degree. Broad experience in all areas of CSE including but not limited to P&ID development, instrument specification, and be proficient in INtools. Must have skills to be a Honeywell/Emerson/Yokogawa DCS specialist, capable of engineering systems architecture, specifying DCS hardware, and configuring the system. Must be a proven DCS Lead Engineer. Experience with Foundation Fieldbus is required. Similar skills with Triconex/Hima/ICS SIS systems would also be an asset. |
