Position Description and major responsibilities:
As a Help Desk Specialist you will support (productivity tools, business applications and workstation environment) to the Outsourcing Services Helpdesk.
The support will include problem identification, analysis, diagnosis and resolution.
You are responsible for the escalation to other centres of expertise (e.g. on-site teams, development teams, etc).
You can be assigned technical tasks regarding new services or customer implementations.
You will provide input to the Knowledge Specialist as and when required.
Capabilities:
Prior work experience in a customer support or technical support role is required.
Flexible to scheduling.
Network +, A+ MCP is desirable (but not essential) or equivalent knowledge level

Skills Required:: |
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge level of Windows 95, 98 2000, NT and XP
A high level understanding of communication and networking technology (TCP/IP and other network protocols).
Advanced trouble-shooting skills with MS Office (95 and 97 and 2000 and XP) suite.
A high level knowledge of PC hardware equipment and utilisation (printers, scanners, modems, network cards).
Personnel Skills:
Listening and communication skills.
Analytical skills.
Problem solving skills.
Strong team player.
Self-starter.

Language Requirements: |
English-Very GoodOther: Fluency in English, both oral and written is a must any other European language is a strong Plus. Right now French, Spanish and German required. |
