| Job Description: |
We are looking for Help Desk specialists to work in a 24X7 rotating shift environment. The customer is one of the UK’s largest retail supermarkets where you could be responsible for maintaining the Point of Sale equipment and Back Office components.
The job will require excellence in telephone support for UK customers and excellent English language and communication skills is essential.
-Provide 1st and 2nd line remote software support to Retail customers.
-Manage multiple calls stacks.
-Resolve calls within agreed customer Service Level Agreements.
-Provide telephone support to field engineers to resolve various IT issues.
-Monitor and Support the customer IT infrastructure.
-Manage technical escalations based on pre-existing escalation procedures.

Skills Required:: |
o MS Windows 2000 Server and workstation
o MS Terminal Services and Netmeeting
o Store Line application
o Retail applications
o MS SQL Server 2000,
o SQL basic scripting skills.
o MS Windows scripting skills
o VB scripting skills.
o Knowledge of Computer Associates applications,(Software Deliver and Event Management).
o Ability to work in a 7*24 shift environment
o Participate in a 7*24 call Rota as required.
o Stress resistant.
o Team player.
o Flexible.
o Highly motivated
