This position will be to join a Worldwide Managed Services Organization, and will be primarily based in Amsterdam. As part of this team you will be working in a fast paced environment where team work is essential. You will need a blend of solid technical experience and customer focussed knowledge. The team will be managing, remotely, the IT infrastructure for clients. Ideally you will have a background in hardware, software distribution, and good systems knowledge too. Preferably from a large enterprise environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the total well being of the IT infrastructure (network and system devices) of a designated group of customers
Supervise the junior/senior remote specialist in the incident management process of network and system devices of the customer IT infrastructure
Responsible for the problem management of network and system devices of the customer IT infrastructure
Responsible for all daily tasks required to provide a high performance, secure, and reliable internal IT infrastructure, needed to guarantee a high performance customer IT infrastructure.
Part of this role will be to help and guide into development of a global standard for servicing customers. The successful applicant will have ideas and expertise to add to this function and make it more efficient and effective going forward.

Skills Required:: |
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
MCSE, CCNA, and applicable education/certificates.
Basic programming skills are a preference (visual basic/visual c)
Understanding of Unix and Oracle is preferred
Basic knowledge of Oracle is also preferable
Basic knowledge of Remedy is preferable
Solid MS Office suite essential, MS W2K server and workstation also
English and Dutch language/writing skills.
