| Job Description: |
Senior software test engineer with the following skills:
• A qualification in IT with 3 years relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge in Retail Banking, Corporate banking, Asset Management, Investment banking (Testing of Banking product)
• Experience in testing Core Banking system (Systematics; especially odules like GN, IM, ST, RO, IR, ALS)
• Experience in testing ATM/Switching technologies (IST Switch)
• Experience in testing Card Management systems
• Experience in testing Brokerage applications
• Experience in testing Internet Banking Telephone Banking & Call Center solutions (SIEBEL).
• Experience in testing wholesale Banking solutions (MIDAS, City Dealer, Plato, FX etc.)
• Experience in testing EFT solutions (STELINK,Steria)
• Experience in testing TELLER applications.
• Experience in using automated test tool like Rational Test Studio/ Mercury Tools
• Knowledge and experience of the full testing lifecycle.
• Excellent Communication skills (both oral and written).
• Ability to independently resolve issues with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position are and not limited to:
• Reviewing analysis and design artifacts
• Identify test and business data requirements
• Develop and execute test scripts from functional specs / Use Case documentation
• Identify and prioritize the test scenarios required
• Report progress against the plan and report on issues arising as required by the team lead.
• Ensure that test deliverables are consistent with the business scope and functional specifications.
• Fits in quickly with the teams and develops effective and supportive relationships with colleagues.
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical disciplines.
• Industry standard certifications in testing / SQA such as CSQA, CSTE, are a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to manage both time and work load without constant supervision,
