Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design and implement new features for our website that will continue to change the way that residential property management is done. This will include linking with other companies using various web services technologies. The engineer will work with a small group that operates very independently as our website continues to develop. The ideal candidate will be motivated, efficient, friendly and possess strong problem solving and communication skills. Cutting edge open source Java technologies including JSF, Seam, Hibernate and Jboss.
The Senior Software Engineer will also be relied upon for help with server and database administration.
Requirements:
? Strong knowledge of Java, object oriented design and SOA
? Experience with JBoss 4.X JEE Application Server. (JSF, Hibernate or Seam experience a plus)
? Experience with Linux, open source development tool chains required
? Experience with SQL and database design
? Experience with HTML, XML, CSS, and DHTML
? Experience with XSLT, Apache Cocoon, Apache Tomcat, Hibernate, and Spring a plus
? In depth knowledge of Perl, Python or other scripting languages
? 5 years experience.
