Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana has an exciting opportunity available for someone to negotiate health care provider contracts and develop meaningful relationships that promote Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT).
As a Senior Provider Contracting Specialist, you will be responsible for contracting with health care providers in a manner that supports the financial and clinical needs of the members and groups of BCBSMT. You will prepare analyses, review financial projections of larger and/ or complex provider contracts and contract terms. You will recruit and contract with health care providers who meet established selection criteria. You will conduct negotiations, draft contracts, and conduct precontractual audits and surveys. You will also ensure the efficient administration of provider contracts and help develop and conduct educational workshops for heath care providers.
A Senior Provider Contracting Specialist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana will have the following attributes and abilities:

· Demonstrated Knowledge of health care contracts

Skills Required:: |
Our ideal candidate will possess:
· Bachelors' degree in a related field plus five years health insurance provider contracting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
