| Job Description: |
Our direct client, a large finance/banking corporation is currently looking at augmenting their IT team by bringing on board a Senior C# Developer with strong TIBCO or MQ messaging experience. The position is based out of Charlotte, NC and the duration of the contract is 6 months and extendable.
Job Role:
The position will involve working directly with developers on the trading floor in an environment of high-volume, low-latency over a multicast backbone
Candidate has to have a background in Messaging and has experienced many of the “gotchas” of multicast and low-latency, high-volume environments.
Skills Required:
Should have strong development background in C#, and written programs against the Tibco Rendezvous API or MQ series and handling messaging scenarios
Candidate should have experience in configuring Hawk rules for monitoring purposes.
Strong experience with multiple databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server)
Experience in writing custom monitoring tools to measure latency, perform morning checks, and produce trend reports in support of capacity planning and measurement of delta change in the environment.
Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalent degree will be a plus.
