Position Description:
Support client/server and web-based applications used by Ford Credit Commercial Lease business team. Duties Include: - testing, implementing, and supporting vended application upgrades on Ford Credit servers. - resolving application and database issues. - participate in duty support rotation. - participate in security and control compliance and reviews.
Skills Required:
- Server platform Operating Systems: Unix, Linux. - Database support and/or management. - Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and planning skills. - Ability to function well as a team member, as well as work independently on assignments. - Ability to work closely with cross functional team (business users, IT, Vendor).
Skills Preferred:
- Applications use Sybase and Unidata database systems. Skills in these areas are a plus. - JAVA and J2EE skills/experience preferred.
Experience Required:
- Vended application integration and/or application development. - Application and database troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Communication with business analysts and various levels of management.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience with the InfoLease application is a plus. - Experience with Ford or Ford Credit IT is a plus.
Education Required:
B.S. In Computer Science or related field.
