My client is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to develop and maintain database systems that support high volume / high traffic e-commerce and content sites. Ideally you will have 4+ years experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring database availability
* Working in a LAMP environment.
* Database optimisation and tuning
* Replication/ Load balancing/ Query optimization
* Schema design disaster recovery/ Database backup / restore
* Data analysis and troubleshooting
* Identifying root cause of issues
* Resolution of data errors
* Unix system administration
* Production Support
* Perl or shell scripting
* Database infrastructure
* Data Recovery
