Our client, a reputed national leader in civil engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), is searching for a high caliber Supply Chain – Head for their main office in Abu Dhabi.
Reporting to the Operations Director, your core responsibility is to efficiently integrate supply and demand management by acting as main coordinator of materials between main office and the sites/projects.
In liaison with the Corporate Quality Manager, you will develop and implement an integrated and supportable Materials Procurement plan, strategies and procedures.
You will be responsible for planning and managing all activities involved in sourcing suppliers, procurement, quality assurance, financial, logistics & warehouse management activities.
Most importantly, you will also coordinate and collaborate with channel partners, such as suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, and internal customers.
You are expected to manage competitive acquisition, execute contracts. and create, update and maintain Vendor data base.

Skills Required:: |
Ideal candidates must be a native English speaker, Western-educated, with international work experience, and a Master`s degree in Business Administration. You must have a minimum of 10 years similar experience in Supply Chain of building materials and equipments preferably from a large engineering and construction company. You must possess business/strategic orientation and excellent planning, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, and project management skills. Up-to-date knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and knowledge in IRP, SCM/CP activities at all phases of the project delivery process, is required. Customer and results-oriented, innovative thinker, cost conscious, and with leadership capability to manage and influence project teams for successful delivery is a must.
