My Financial Services Client is currently looking to Recruit an experienced senior DB2 Database Administrator. Ideally you will have extensive experience as a DBA maintaining and tuning in an online environment.
The Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, OR Equivalent Experience
* DB2 Database Administration V8.1/V8.2/V9
* Experience working in real time OLTP environments
* Experience in maintenance and performance tuning
* 24x7 Production Support of systems and on-call rotation.
* Experience designing online back-up solutions
* Stored procedures, triggers, and SQL
* Mentoring and Leading less-experienced DBAs
* Identifying and Implementing Process Improvements
* Project Management and Project Documentation skills
* Experience of Oracle or Informix is a plus.
* DB2 UDB EEE is an advantage.
