| Job Description: |
Major financial services company is seeking sales professionals and account executives with at least 2-5 years in the merchant services industry. This is a home-based position; however, some travel throughout the territory will be required.
**Candidates MUST have experience in the bankcard industry.
Job Description:
• Accounts range from 500K and above in total credit card sales per year. However, for most mid-market vacancies we are really looking for a someone who can concentrate on higher volume/higher quality accounts over $3 million annually.
• Quota of 100 million (296K in net revenue) in New Signed Business.
• 60% cold calling/40% referrals and networking with others for leads.
• Responsible for driving sales, bring in new business, and forming strategic partnerships.
• Average sales cycle of 3 months, depending on size of the merchant.
• Typically close 3-5 deals each month.
• Sell to multi-locations retail merchants, restaurants, hospitality chains and other vertical markets, including E-Commerce merchants.
• Focused territory (either vertical or geographical).
• Team environment involving constant contact with other sales professionals.
