Senior Human Resources Generalist
Duties:
Serve as key consultant in the area of labor relations and provide the full range of professional level human resources consulting services on a wide range of complex and sensitive issues to management and client group. Assists business units in meeting business objectives and initiatives by negotiating, implementing and administering collective bargaining agreement, including advising on grievance resolution, arbitration strategies and contract negotiation. Develops, administers, evaluates and maintains Human Resources programs, such as labor relations, employee relations, compensation, position classification, performance management, and in-house workers’ compensation claims, and provides expert-level consulting services in all areas of Human Resources to assigned client group. Develops programs and policies and performs other special projects as requested.

Education and Experience:
Requires bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of human resources generalist work experience with 3 years work experience in labor relations. Certification as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is strongly preferred. Other relevant designations and certifications are desired. |
