Our client is a world leading provider of professional services to the energy, resource and complex process industries. They are currently seeking experienced professionals to join them as
Safety Superintendent
(1 year contract – subject to renewal)
Main purpose:
• To coordinate implementation of the company HSE policies, Safety Management System and Project/location specific Safety Management Plans as they apply to the location.
• Ensure the location complies with the relevant Occupational and Safety Legislation and the respective client's safety requirements.
• Accept assignments within the safety departments and perform specific duties as may be required.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including government regulations, standards and policies.
• Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of the safety program assigned.
• Ensure the safety of any subordinates and ensure their compliance with established safety policies, procedures and practices. |
Skills Required:: |
• Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. |
