Provides vision and direction in the development of strategic plans to drive sales growth through the acquisition of intellectual property, new products and entry into new markets. This will include market analysis, competitive analysis, industry trends and due diligence with regard to acquisitions.
Must work out of south florida for one year and relocate to columbia afterwards!!
Essential functions:
•provides leadership and direction to senior management team with regard to opportunities to expand our presence in existing or new markets through analysis and recommendation.
•Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations and institutions.
•Responsible for leading a cross-functional team to conduct due diligence on all possible business mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances.
•Prudent management of budgeted expenses.
•Focuses on continuous improvement with regard to product quality and functionality. The goal is “best in class” products in all market segments. Drives corrective action where necessary.

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications:
•8-12 years in related marketing/sales position.
•Master’s Degree
•Bilingual in English and Spanish.
•Experience in business development preferred.
•Exceptional analytical skills specifically with valuation modeling, strategic planning, intellectual property assessment and market trend analysis.
•Strong negotiation skills.
•Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including strong presentation skills.
•Strong results orientation.
•Excellent organizational skills.
