Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Khiran, Kuwait
Reports To: Project Manager

Salary Range: x,xxx Kuwait Dinar base dependent on relevant experience

Qualifications:
Working toward Chartership with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Equivalent.
Graduate of BSc Quantity Surveying and minimum + 2 years experience
Job Purpose:
Quantity Surveyor will be a key member of the Consultant Project Management Team based on-site in Khiran, Southern Kuwait, and will report directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator. The position undertakes two primary roles:
1. Manage assistant QS team to ensure the production of Bills of Quantity, Financial Accounts are in conformance with the contract and programme.

Key Responsibilities:
Quantity Surveyor will report directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator and lead a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors to prepare Bills of Quantities for tenders; Interim Payment Certificates and Financial Accounts; and provide data for Cash Flow predications. Key responsibilities include:
all project phases or contracts
Plan and manage the job responsibilities of the Assistant QSs
Monitor quality and progress of work
Respond to Contractor queries and review construction issue drawings
Prepare miscellaneous works contracts, monitor progress and report
Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the clients best interests and that BH policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
