Our Client is the largest Project Management company in the world, american by origin who work on key high rise projects. They have recently joint ventures with a major developer organisation and have moved into large scale mixed use development.
Reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the coordination of the projects tendering efforts. Is responsible to protect and promote the interests of the client in all commercial transactions. Manage the projects Purchasing schedule and report on the status of tendering and attend any project meetings as required. Oversee the tendering of contract packages from pre-qualified contractors in acordance with the Contract Documents to confirm to the project schedule and budget. Oversee the scheduling of pre-bid meetings, recieve and follow for answers to questions from bidders, distribute Addenda, Circulars, etc. during the tendering period. Recieve tenders for the variuos packages, oversee the package managers prepartion of tender analysis spreadsheets, conduct scope review and negotiations with competitive tenderers to confirm compliance with scope and project requirements, manpower, schedule, logistics plans and any other project specific requirements. Issue recommendation for award for client approval. Oversee the preperation of contracts and follow up for execution, receipt of insurance certificates, advance payment and bank guarentees.
