Our client is a member of a prominent UAE based investment Group and a leading Master developer in the Middle East. For their start-up company in the retail sector; they are looking for a top-notch senior leasing legal professional to join their leasing team.
Reporting to the Director-Leasing, you will be fully responsible for drawing up lease agreements with various Leasing partners of the company for all the retail projects. As a head of this function, you will support the business development team in negotiations and closures of deals with prospective Leasing partners and document all the mutually acceptable terms and conditions. These would be incorporated in to the final draft of contract documents where you would be closely involved with preparation, administration and documentation of the lease agreements .Additionally, you have to have the ability to resolve disputes within the legal and regulatory framework and regularly exercise judgment in resolving business challenges and problems. Your role also requires you to manage the day-to-day functioning of your department and ensure compliance of the agreements by tenants, monitoring, follow-ups etc.

Skills Required:: |
To qualify for this position you should be a legal expert in handling Leasing contracts for large Retail/ Shopping Mall set-ups and have at-least 5 years of prior experience in similar capacity. Shopping Mall/Retail background or experience in a legal consultancy with experience in handling of leasing contracts for shopping malls is a pre-requisite. |
