Job Description
We need an experienced system developer to trouble-shoot multi-threaded high load concurrency customer installation issues. Work with application-level developers to optimize server API’s and their use.
Position Responsibilities:
· Provide high-priority on-demand customer driven diagnostics to solve customers multi-threaded high load concurrency issues.
· Work in close co-operation with application developers to (a) understand their use case (b) assist in design of the solution (c) define server requirements
· Diagnosis, debugging and repair of server defects and/or performance issues.
Position Requirements:
· Knowledge/experience in the server side of commercial enterprise-level client server architecture.
· Thorough understanding and programming expertise in kernel-level C++ Server Programming and Java a must.
· Programming experience with client/server architectures and multi-threading development.
· Programming experience with enterprise-level database support (Oracle, DB2).
· Programming experience with Web application service architectures.
· 10% to 25% travel
Scope/Level of Decision Making:
Operates under general supervision and applies a complex level of knowledge in developing software products and in coding, testing and debugging new software.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
This is a senior level position typically requiring 4-7 years of experience. Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Fully knowledgeable about object-oriented programming, computer or interpreter techniques, CAD/CAM applications, embedded systems relational databases and new/advances programming language.
