Job Description
The successful candidate will work as a member of the development team (project manager, development manager, other developers, DBA, customer service, etc.) to develop, test, and maintain this Companys flagship product and other various web-based projects.
Candidate must have:
Desire to work in all tiers of web development, including:
O HTML page templating
O JavaScript / DHTML
O Front-end user interface development with ASP.NET / C# / .NET 2.0 framework
O Middle-tier component development using the C# / .NET 2.0 framework
O Maintenance - bug triage and resolution
3+ years experience developing, testing, and supporting database-driven web based applications.
At least two years of working (full-time) with each of the following technologies: ASP.NET using C#, ADO.NET, HTML, SQL Server (T-SQL), JavaScript, AJAX, and XML technologies.
Familiarity integrating unit tests and automated testing plans into development processes.
Familiarity developing load balanced web applications.
Experience with full life-cycle development methodologies.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to manage assigned tasks for multiple concurrent projects and hit key milestones on time.
Strong work ethic and a desire to work as a member of a small, talented team.
Other qualifications:
ASP.NET AJAX development experience.
Familiarity building reusable ASP.NET user interface controls.
Web service development using C#.
Experience with formal planning and preparing technical design and specification documentation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2005 / 2008 Team Suite functionality a plus.
Familiarity with .NET 3.0 / .NET 3.5.
