This leading Organisation is seeking a Switchboard Supervisor for a permanent role based in Qatar. The role is to start after February 2008.
The Switchboard Supervisor performs a key role of managing the communications centre, which is the first point of contact for patients and/ visitors. You will manage and be a key part of the team which portrays a professional manner on the telephone including handling of enquiries, provision of information of the Centre’s services.
In this role you will mmanage the Switchboard team, including recruitment and training & development programmes. Ensuring the very best quality of staff and seamless Switchboard service to all departments.
You shall provide Switchboard services including answering incoming and outgoing calls in conjunction with complete familiarity and compliance with telephone answering standards.
Other duties include giving information as required, being in control and responsible for the master copy of staff directory, including staff mobile & home numbers for emergency contacts. Obtaining details via HR of new starters.
You will also have control over the Hospital Emergency and Evacuation procedures and assume any other reasonable responsibilities as directed by the Guest Services Manager.
To apply for the role you will have 2+ years experience in a similar role ideally within a hospital or 5* star hotel. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
In return you will receive a TAX FREE salary between $24k USD - $30K USD TAX FREE.
