a prestigious, growth-oriented, regional Accounting and Consulting firm, seeks experienced CPA's in our Pittsburgh office.
an owner in the Firm, which is a LLC, and; therefore, the title are synonymous. In this capacity the principal is responsible for complex audit engagements and is expected to manage multiple engagements and a substantial book of business. The is responsible for issuance of audit reports, ultimately ensuring compliance with professional standards and Firm policies. A principal is also responsible for all business aspects of client relationships including billing, collecting and maintaining profitability within the s book of business. will educate and train staff and assist in the growth and development of the Firm's professional team members.
s duties include but are not limited to:
1. Issues audit reports in accordance with professional standards and Firm policies.
2. Designs audit approaches to complicated, specialized or new situations.
3. Communicates contents of management letter to client.
4. Provides quality assurance review of workpapers for overall engagements.
5. Manages engagement problems and client issues.
6. Manages staff and assesses staff for annual performance reviews.
7. Retain existing clients and secure new clients for the Firm.
8. Develop marketing strategy for the Financial Services industry practice.
