Position
Waiter
Scope of Position:
In charge of the guest’s needs throughout his/hers meal experience from arrival to departure for all service related tasks.

Profile:
- Hospitality Catering School or 3 years experience
- Experience in different styles of service.
- Immaculate appearance
- Extroverted personality, with sense for details and organizational skills
- Sensible, alert eyed, discrete, polite
- Sense for quality, eye for details
- Good organizational skills, stress resistant
- Drivers licence
- 25 years old +
- English Proficiency: Excellent
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Set up of the restaurants based on pre-agreed standards
- Polishing of cutlery, glassware and crockery
- Make sure that the restaurants and outside areas are always clean and to report any discrepancies
- Knowledge of the Menu and the special of the day
- Handle together bills and charges
- Handle all guests related needs and taking food and beverage orders
- Handle F&B Service for any meals that he is assigned to
- Handles wine and beverage service
- Handles refill of beverage fridges
- Monitors that all billing has been done properly
- Emphasizes on quality, impeccable service standards according to Company standards
Others
- Lives the Motto: “The answer is yes, what is the question.”
- The service begins with the arrival of the guest and ends with the departure from the restaurant
- Ensures he will not contribute to rumours that might put the Resort in a bad light.
- Ensures that he acts as an Aphrodite Hills employee

- Works with the attitude --“What can I do for the company?” and not with the attitude “What can the company do for me?”

- When reporting problems to his direct Supervisor, he will also recommend some solution.
- Perform any other duties related or not and special project as assigned.
- Making sure that the food is served promptly and hot or cold depending on the item
- Knowledge of opening and serving wine and beverage to the guests
- Ensures that all dirty linen are transferred to the HK Department with the correct procedures
- Reports to his Supervisor and comment of the guests positive or negative
- Strives to satisfy the guests with whatever requests they might have and give alternatives when needed
