Position
Cook A - C
Scope of Position:
Learn by practice, observe and study the work and responsibilities of a Sous Chef, and through that medium, the culinary skills of the kitchen.
Assist the Sous Chef in preparing and cooking and serving of necessary dishes as directed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.. Knows and follows the rules and regulations of HACCP and ISO

Profile
- Secondary school and successful completion of an apprentiship as cook
- Or minimum 3 years experience
- Pleasant and nice grooming
- minimum 18 Years old
- Knowledge of all vegetables, pastas, egg dishes and soups.
- Possess a high standard of cooking abilities with experience in luxury properties
- Knowledge of all kitchens work.
- Knowledge of butcher equipment, cleanliness, butcher tectonics and work.
- Knowledge of all cooking skills cleanliness portion controlling and wastage control.
- English proficiency good
Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of all dishes,
Training of all new staff.
Assist the butcher in preparing meat, fish, poultry for cooking according to requirement of the following days menu.
Responsible to ensure a high degree of cleanliness and that all dishes produce are of the highest quality and presentation value. Also minimize wastage.
Respect the rules and guidelines of HACCP and ISO
Responsible to accept on the job teaching and guidance and to Cooperate with other team members and to promote this.
Attend scheduled training classes.
Responsible for producing a high standard of kitchen works in accordance to set standard and policies.
Perform any other duties as required by the respective supervisors and other management staff.
