| Job Description: |
Our client, a MNC Oil & Gas in Brunei is seeking for a suitable and qualified candidate (with Oil and Gas exposure) to fill in for the above position.
Contract Period : 6 MONTHS
Note : Open to All Nationalities
Closing : 11 FEB 08
Job Purpose:
- The methodical investigation, analysis, design, construct, test and document systems in accordance to the requirements of the business.
- To provide support and maintain systems in the area of responsibility.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Support and maintain complex or many (up to 20) existing systems within assigned business area. This includes analysing the problem, resolution of operational failures, design and execution of enhancements to existing systems or installation of new releases of external packages.
• Assist in analysis and developing Functional Specification in accordance to the requirements of the business.
• Design and construct programs and related technical components in accordance to company's standards given a Functional Specification.
• Participate in system and acceptance testing, or technical evaluation of packages.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients.
• Develop Technical Guide, End User Guide and Training Guide.` |
Skills Required:: |
Qualifications Requirement:
`• Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years experience as a programmer
• Excellent experience in Application and System Development in Powerbuilder 5, .Net and Oracle tools.
• Knowledge in Unix, Windows NT and PC desktop
Experience Requirement:
• Having worked in an environment supporting HR, Finance and HSSE applications in an Oil Exploration and Production organisation would be an advantage. |
