Responsibilities :
* Assists in meeting Customer Care production and quality goals with regard
to answering customer contacts in a timely manner and providing the best
possible technical pre-sales support in a customer friendly environment..
* Assists customers with pre-sales advice, installation, configuration, and
the use of Clients products.
* Utilizes effective oral and written communication skills in order to work
effectively with customers, other department members, and Clients
employees worldwide.
* Requires a strong understanding of the product lines and ability to use
this knowledge when handling support contacts.
* Furthers personal development by participating in and contributing to team
meetings and on-going training sessions, both on their own time and during
designated business hours.
* Maintains accurate customer records in customer database system.
* Provides feedback on process and support improvements
* Assists with technical pre-sales support for all contact methods in a
professional manner.
* Additional duties may be assigned depending on departmental needs.
Description:
* The Technical Support Engineer is an experienced networking specialist who
will cover the highest level of technical pre-sales support for the
following areas:
* Routing and switching, network security, IP telephony products and
wireless technologies (technical and product support, planning of
networks, product selection, validation, pricing....).
* Technical pre-sales support in finding solutions for the existing and new
company clients in questions concerning planning, extending and
implementing of networks.
* Own a case until resolution is reached, and assure the contact with the
customer (verbally-written) in every stage of the process.
* Replicate customer issues in a lab environment.
* Identify and drive recurring issues to resolution together with client\'s
escalation resources.
Profile :
* Education: bachelor degree preferably in engineering or relevant working
experience.
* Minimum of two (2) years work experience in a technical or networking
support environment.
* Good networking knowledge on CCNA or Network+ level.
* In-depth PC knowledge and good understanding of the Microsoft Office
applications.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
* Fast learner, self-motivated and a positive attitude.
* Stress resistant and a team player.
* Ability to speak fluently supported language Czech and English. Any
other European language would be an asset.
