Job Description
The Oncology Pharmacist is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to both adult and pediatric cancer patients. This individual will work collaboratively with practitioners to ensure appropriate drug therapy, optimize medication distribution, and provide education/medication information for patients and practitioners. Goals also include support of improved satisfaction of both patients and health care practitioners. The OR Pharmacist's responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, medication use monitoring, and effective communication with peri-operative staff. Requirements for this position include leadership, experience with medication use and distribution in a hospital, and effective interpersonal skills.
B.S. or Pharm.D, plus residency. California License Required.
