In regards to visa, if you can come on a working holiday visa. If you are from the Phillipines or other countries that are not able to come on this visa you will have to enroll in a course which will cost you $240 per week. Once you enroll in a course you will receive a student visa.
Also, as an Au-Pair your salary will be 150-300 per week, so it is not recommended to come on a studnet visa as your weekly salary will be spend on your study.
