Primary skill: Expertise on PL/SQL; advanced knowledge of DML is required

Location: Manila or Germany
Shifting schedule (if any): Regular, mid-shift, night shift
Requirements:
1. Candidates MUST be skilled and highly-experienced in PL/SQL, i.E., should have advanced knowledge of DML.
2. Minimum of 2 solid years working experience in Oracle 9i
3. Must have worked with gigabytes of data
4. Must have reviewed PL/SQL codes to check where simple performance improvements can be made, e.G., know why LIKE is not advisable to use, etc.;
5. Willing to be trained on more advanced performance tuning concepts.
Brief description of the role:
Candidate will be part of the Oracle core team that will enhance and support an application mainly focusing on fine tuning the application so that it can process terabytes of data in a more reasonable amount of time.
Example of scenario: Current processing takes 2 days; must reduce it to a couple of hours for daily processing.
