Requirements
Essential
appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Degree qualified in a relevant discipline)
at least seven years of experience in the design of highways and trunk roads
evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects
Desirable
holds a Masters in a relevant discipline
experience of the design of pipe drainage networks
experience of the design of grade separated juctions
expert in the use of MX road design software and AutoCAD
familiarity with UK design standards
proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office software
Responsibilities
You will be a Senior Designer within the Highways team carrying out the design and checking of a range of elements associated with highway projects. You will be responsible for:
project based supervision of designers and drafting staff
maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers
delivering projects to time and budget
liaising with UK based customers in a responsive and client focused manner
