| Job Description: |
As a Production Technologist you will be a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team contributing to areas including well performance, optimisation and completions. You will have experience preferably with an operator, and have a good production technology skill set. Experience of well performance modeling, completion design and operations are important.
In a Senior Production Technologist role you will be a senior team member, working in a multi disciplinary team perhaps undertaking team and technical leadership responsibility.
For both positions you will need a good understanding of integration with other sub surface disciplines. In addition you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
You will have experience in a significant part of the following areas:
Upper completion design
Reservoir completion design
Safeguarding well productivity
Well performance modelling
Artificial lift selection
Tubing stress analysis
Integrated asset modelling
Oil and gas reservoir performance
Offshore operations experience
Experience of industry standard modelling packages including Prosper / WS Tube
Sand Management
Well site operations
A knowledge of petroleum engineering skills such as material balance modeling, well test analysis, PVT/SCAL, reservoir performance, dynamic modeling and development planning will allow more rapid progression onto petroleum engineering-related projects.
