As a result of expansion within the Corporate and Trust Division in Madrid, our client is seeking a talented, motivated and proactive client accountant.
The successful candidate will become part of a team of lawyers, accountants and secretarial support that manages a portfolio of client companies.

| Skills Required: |
Key tasks and responsibilities:
· All accounting matters for client real estate companies, such as preparation of quarterly reporting and annual accounts, and preparation of income tax returns and VAT returns
·Communicating with and advising clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other company offices worldwide
·Assisting auditors with audits performed on client companies
·Maintaining and developing a network of internationally etablished clients
·Involvement in other aspects of client work such as corporate, legal and tax
Qualifications and experience:
·Bachelors degree and a minimum three years’ experience in an accounting position; exposure to tax-driven structures is an advantage
·Strong financial/accounting and analytical skills
·Commercial, dynamic attitude and excellent communication skills
·Able to work in a team and autonomously
·Able to set priorities and be flexible and highly accurate
·Knowledge of several developments in legislation, e.g. IFRS and Spanish GAAP
·Knowledge of real estate accounting systems (e.g. Yardi, MRI) will be considered a plus
·Fluency in English and Spanish
